Death Beneath Ice

I have just read the latest Warriors book: Omen of The Stars #3 Night Whispers and I absolutely looove this book! It was exciting, sometimes funny and so sad! But that's the reason I love it! I guess I'm one of the biggest Warriors-fans ever And I'm proud of it!
Well, let's come to the drawing! Unfortunately Flametail, the ShadowClan medicine cat died in "Night Whispers". He broke through the ice of the frozen lake and drowned. That made me so sad! So I decided to draw the scene: Here it is.

For the first time I LIKE my background! That's something new! Usually I hate my backgrounds because they just look unrealistic. But this time I like how the water and the snow turned out.

I am not sure if I chose the right colours for the cat, but I think he's just flame-coloured. He doesn't have any markings, right?

Hmm...I like the shading, too. But the trees and bushes in the background are crappy and you know it. I'll be working on trees and plants and this stuff to improve.

And I'm happy I'm out of this little art block I had.
